rickman thomas williams 1950-2012

once upon a time, i loved an artist

a rock n roll, punk cowboy outlaw

an x san francisco

flower child

once upon a time, i married this man

created two small female children with this man

watched this man crumble into a thousand grains of sand

as the needle and the damage done tore us apart

and as i left this man, i grieved the loss of all we had once been

once had

once created

once loved in and with each other..

and i waited for his leave of this planet

grieved the loss 15 years ago

and now

there are no tears left

no words

save a silent goodbye

as exercise or exorcism, i write...for the eyes of others, for my eyes and heart only, for the love and the rage, i write...to release the gamut of emotion...to tell the truth and say what's often thought but not written...
