what’s told

i told  you a story

(you told me i must be lying)

i told you of my memories

(you told me its fanciful musings)

i told you our secrets

(you told me what i needed to hear)

i told you of thin skin

(you told me of your ease in cruelty)

i told you of sickness

(you told me only your pen held the cure)

i told you what i couldn’t give you

(you told me i was silly and selfish)

i told you of

the heat and thunder

lighting up

this summer sky

you told me

at dawn

you must have been dreaming

About lindalou5150

as exercise or exorcism, i write...for the eyes of others, for my eyes and heart only, for the love and the rage, i write...to release the gamut of emotion...to tell the truth and say what's often thought but not written...
