his road

what is it

that pisses you off

 annoying your sensibilities

while generating your

apparent snarling

are you jealous

of certain experiences

generationally speaking

you just

missed the boat on?

is it that, logistically,

you weren’t

in the most

coveted places

 of your dreams

at the

right times

making it impossible

for a stranger to

have been there

without or

instead of

what is it that

you fear

when your hostility

slips up

and shows

while you insist

on masking it all

as a joke…

its an odd, twisted road

you’re choosing

 to travel down…

and slightly amused

i’ll beg you again:

stop reading

these puzzle -piece words

if you insist

on placing

pieces of your

cardboard cutouts

with your

inside of another’s

life game…

attempting to discredit

pieces of one’s  life

that you weren’t

a part of

makes little sense

and remains

a great waste

of time…
